A note about equipment:

Our goal is to introduce ski touring/ski mountaineering/skimo racing to a broader group, particularly youth, in Idaho. Like many endurance sports, the gear and equipment costs can be significant. Because the sport is still fairly new in the U.S., higher-end gear can be hard to find and expensive. Getting started in the sport is more about learning and getting out on skis than focusing on the equipment side.

We also want to help support those who want to pursue the racing/performance side, where lighter gear is a requirement. Part of our budget is to have a selection of skimo equipment available for demo/leasing so talk to us about this if interested.
